Joe has his family around him, including 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren but would love to have the chance to get to know someone new over a cuppa and a chat as he doesn't get out so much due to his sight loss. He enjoys listening to BBC Radio Ulster and Talkback shows and used to be a great reader.
Ideally, we are looking for a male volunteer with a genuine interest in other people. A good listener available to make a regular weekly visit.
Do you need experience or specialist skills?
No - simply a genuine desire to help and some spare time on a regular weekly basis. We will ensure you are supported throughout your journey with us, offering training and support at all times. We will also reimburse out of pocket expenses to you and pay for your Access NI check.
