Volunteer Home Befriender (Go out for a Coffee with Anne - Banbridge)

Our member Anne lives in Banbridge and is looking for a friendly female volunteer who is available to pay her a visit each week on a Thursday afternoon and perhaps go out to the local cafe for a coffee from time to time. Anne would love the opportunity to have a regular visitor and to get to know someone over a cuppa - she loves company and a good chat! She used to enjoy gardening and playing boules before her eyesight deteriorated

Ideally, you will be a driver with your own transport, with a genuine interest in other people. A good listener available to make a regular weekly visit.

Do you need experience or specialist skills?

No - simply a genuine desire to help and some spare time on a regular weekly basis. We will ensure you are supported throughout your journey with us, offering training and support at all times. We will also reimburse out of pocket expenses to you and pay for your Access NI check.
