Voluntary Events Intern

Responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to ongoing development of the marketing strategy including implementation, coordination and continual monitoring of progress.
• Event management assisting primarily in the planning and management ofNorthern Ireland’s largest mass participation sporting event including logistical and operational planning.
• Maintaining CRM database.
• Creating and implementing Stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Assist in the creation and management of digital marketing campaign for event recruitment.
• To work with the fundraising team to create marketing activities for the targeting of specific objectives.
• To arrange for the effective distribution of marketing materials
• To organise and attend events and exhibitions
• To deliver well organised presentations at events/ shows
• Development of literature and promotional material
• Co-ordinating content and production of publications and editorial
• Co-ordinating digital marketing activities
• Carrying out market research and compiling information
• Responsibility for fundraising teams social media presence
• Planning and delivering communications and key messages to staff, stakeholders and partners
• General administrative duties 
• Assist with the recruitment and management of volunteers.
• Assist with the account management of organisation partnerships

Successful applicants will be expected to devote at least 22.5 hours per week from 18th July to 18th September. While there is no renumeration for this role reasonable expenses will be covered as agreed.
