Sport NI is seeking to fill the Director of Finance and Governance role through the Interchange secondment programme. The role is for 1 year with the possibility of extension for a further year.
About the role
This is a post for which formal accountancy qualifications are required. There are over 100 staff in Sport NI organised in four Directorates, including Finance and Governance Directorate, each headed by a Director who reports to the Interim Chief Executive Officer. Finance and Governance Directorate has a staff of approximately 20. Its budget (excluding salaries) is £670k. Its responsibilities include finance, investment and procurement assurance, information and governance and IT. The Director is responsible for leading and managing the Directorate and ensuring that agreed objectives are met.
