Senior Marketing Executive

The post holder will lead the marketing team and is responsible for co-ordinating all marketing and promotional activities, publicity, external communications and event management.

Specific Duties

  • Develop and implement the marketing strategy for the organisation in line with corporate objectives and projected income streams.
  • Manage the brand identity for the organisation in line with brand guidelines.
  • Oversee all website and social media content and develop a digital marketing strategy for the organisation.
  • Experience of designing marketing collateral in-house and using graphic design packages such as InDesign, Illustrator etc.
  • Develop media relations with the organisation, building on our select list of media contacts and maximising PR opportunities.
  • Ensure the organisation is represented at all relevant exhibitions and events and take the lead in organising events as required.
  • Experience of planning, managing and evaluating marketing campaigns.
  • Take the lead in maximising promotional opportunities for the organisation through advertising, sponsorship and other initiatives.
  • Manage and motivate the marketing team.

Essential Criteria

A degree in a marketing-related discipline or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in a marketing role and experience of supervising a team.

It is essential to be IT literate to include extensive use of electronic communications, desktop publishing and Microsoft Office programmes.
