To plan, establish and deliver the following services to Traveller families within the greater Belfast area
• Early Years Parent and Toddler Group
• After School / Homework Club

Senior Family Worker

Temporary
1st Sept 2017 – 31st March 2018 initially
16 hours per week
Flexible over 4 days
£10.30 per hour
Belfast
Essential Criteria:
Minimum of QCF Level 3 Child Care qualification OR one of the following:
- Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 3 Children & Young People
- NVQ Level 3 Children’s Care, Learning & Development
- CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care & Education (VRQ)
- CACHE Level 3 Extended Diploma in Child Care & Education (Wales & NI)
- BTEC Higher National Diploma in Childcare Studies
- BTEC National Diploma in Childcare Studies
- Degree in Social Work
Other Essential Criteria to Include:
- Minimum of 1 years paid employment working with children and / or families
- 5 GCSE’s at grade C and above, including English Language, or equivalent
- 1 years experience recording and reporting on work done
- Full clean drivers licence and access to transport
