Senior Children's Counsellor

  1. To provide appropriate therapeutic interventions to children who have been affected through transgenerational, conflict related trauma
  2. To carry out assessments of referrals made to the project and assess suitability for therapeutic interventions
  3. To assist in the development of the children’s service.  
  4. To work across relevant agencies, community, voluntary and statutory (including schools and social services settings)
  5. To assist in the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation of the project. 
  6.  To attend regular team meetings and supervision sessions
  7. To contribute to the development and implementation of Trinity Counselling Service’s strategic plan.
  8. To maintain a professional attitude at all times towards clients, staff and all those in contact with Holy Trinity’s services
  9. To adhere to the ethos and values of Holy Trinity Centre.
  10. To maintain adequate records of clinical work and provide appropriate statistical returns as required
  11.  To assist in the evaluation of the service by contributing to data collection and analysis and to participate in research as required
  12. To participate in any other activities as agreed with the service managers
  13.  To be aware of and comply with the policies, procedures and service
  14. To maintain professional accreditation and/or registration
  15. To manage own caseload and support other team members when necessary.
  16. Any other duties deemed reasonable by the Management.
