We are currently recruiting for a number of Project Officers

The Project Officers will support disabled people to secure sustainable employment opportunities and achieve positive outcomes through participation in programmes which Cedar is contracted to deliver by the Department for Employment and Learning (e.g. Workable (NI), Work Connect, and Specialist Support). Cedar delivers the Workable (NI) and Work Connect projects in collaboration with a number of other disability sector organisations in the Supported Employment Solutions (SES) partnership.

Hours:                                  37 Hours per week

Contract:                             On-going

Salary:                                  3 point incremental scale starting on £20,198 per annum pro rata

Location:                             Various locations across Northern Ireland which may include Belfast, Ballymena, Derry, Newry and Omagh.

Essential:                            3rd level qualification: NVQ level 4/Degree or equivalent

AND

Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in supported employment or recruitment

AND

Minimum of 1 years’ experience of delivering training

OR

2nd level qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent and also a minimum of 3 years’ experience as above in both working in supported employment or recruitment and delivering training

 

Full current driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes (consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence).

This criterion will be waived in the case of a suitable applicant who has a disability which prohibits them from driving but who is able to organise suitable alternative arrangements in order to meet the requirements of the post in full

Desirable:                           Experience of working with people with disabilities or other disadvantaged groups

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access
