The Playwork Assistant will assist in the day to day organisation and running or YMCA After School Club - Bangor, and to deputise in the absence of the Playwork Supervisor.
The post encompasses working as part of a team to provide quality childcare for the children attending our service, by using the core skills and knowledge in areas of Child Development, Safeguarding Children, and Promoting the Welfare of Children.
Salary: £15,407 pro rate (YMCA Range D pt3)
Hourly rate: £7.90
Contract: Fixed term contract from 16th October 2017 until 17th August 2018.
Location: YMCA North Down, 10-12 High Street, Bangor OR if required, Ballyholme Presbyterian Church, Ashley Drive, Bangor.
Essential Criteria Qualifications:
- Hold a QCF Level 2 or 4 qualification in Playwork, Early Years or equivalent AND
- Working towards a Level 5 qualification in Playwork, CCLD (Children's Care Learning & Development) or equivalent.
