The NI Hospice are looking to seek a Physiotherapist – Paediatric Palliative Care

The Role
The post holder will be a member of the multidisciplinary palliative care team within the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice. He/she will carry out all duties associated with the provision of therapy including the undertaking of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and review of children with life limiting or life-threatening conditions, many of whom will have associated complex healthcare needs. He/she will contribute to the development, supervision and governance of children’s palliative care physiotherapy. He/she will contribute and where appropriate lead on projects, teaching initiatives and research and will be responsible for their own personal and professional development through liaison with the Head/Deputy Head of Children’s Hospice Services, Care Team Manager and colleagues. He/she will take a lead role in the moving and handling training for care team staff and other staff groups as appropriate.

Reports to:            
Head / Deputy Head of Children’s Hospice Services
