Pets As Therapy Volunteer - Belfast Hospice

Marie Curie

Marie Curie is dedicated to providing high quality support to patients throughout our hospices. We are looking for Pets as Therapy volunteers to bring their registered pet to our Hospice and provide companionship for our patients.

Your role will include some of, but is not restricted to, the following tasks:

  • Introduce pets to suitable patients
  • Assist patients with the pet
  • Chat to patients
  • Ensure their pet is well behave during patient visits  
  • Help with other related tasks when necessary
