RNIB Volunteering are looking to recruit a Part time Volunteering Coordinator (Ref: 6176) to join us in Belfast. Closing date for applications is Monday 3 September 2012 at 2pm

Join us at RNIB, help us reach more blind and partially sighted people with the support they need through an expanding and responsive volunteer network. Supporting staff and volunteers in RNIB Group, you’ll manage, develop and boost volunteer support, plus build a more cohesive technology support service. You’ll also develop collaborative new ways of working with volunteers and organisations.

 

The volunteers you involve will reflect the broad spectrum of local communities we work in. What’s more, you’ll already have experience managing volunteers in a professional setting, including selection, motivation and placement.

 

Up to speed on health and safety, risk assessment you’ll be used to training other people. A great communicator, you’ll be an enthusiastic, supportive self-starter. As an ambassador for RNIB, you’ll engage with a wide range of audiences and build relationships that last.

 

Adept at using Microsoft Office, you’ll also be available for occasional travel with overnight stays.
