MARC-it Furniture Shop Manager

The MARCit shop has been in operation in since 2008. The shop runs as a Social Economy Enterprise to contribute to the income of the Link Family and Community Centre. As such, continuation of the post is dependent on the post holder ensuring that sufficient income is brought in through the shop.

 The shop mainly sells second hand furniture. It also sells other donated goods, such as bric-a-brac, toys and miscellaneous items. We are looking for a shop manager that has the drive to develop and improve this social economy.

Full Time, 36 hours per week (including Saturdays),

NJC Point 14 £15,882 + performance bonus(under review)

Key Responsibilities:

 To co-ordinate and administer the social economy furniture sales project. To maximise shop sales and improve product lines. The post will also involve partnership working with the Training and Activities Worker of the MARC Project.
