On behalf of our client, an award winning social enterprise based in Belfast, we are seeking a Junior Finance Officer to assist the finance team to improve their systems, functions and procedures. Must be enthusiastic, proactive and ambitious.
Purpose of the role - To support the existing Finance Team with the collation and processing of financial transactions, including reconciling accounts, making payments and assisting with general monthly financial duties relating to monthly reporting.
Essential experience and skills:
Have a recognised finance qualification and working towards a professional accounting qualification
Two year experience of working within a busy Finance Department
Experience of computerised accounts package and competent in Excel/Word/MS Office
Desirable experience and skills
Experience of Sage accounts
Experience of working in a non profit organisation/charity accounts
Experience of working in a changing environment.
