12 month secondment subject to review PO1, SCP 33 to 36, £27,849 - £30,011 per annum
- To be responsible to the Assistant Procurement Manager for the provision of advice and guidance to service departments, to help maximise value for the council’s money in major purchasing matters and operational management of co-ordinated contracts.
- To manage a portfolio of contracts, carry out de-briefs and participate on working groups and similar duties.
- To assist with researching products, services and supplies; and with the research and development of purchasing strategies and to instruct and advise the procurement assistants.
