LauraLynn are seeking to recruit a passionate, dynamic Individual Giving Manager with thorough knowledge of individual giving strategies, donor motivation and prospect cultivation to join their team!
Background Information:
LauraLynn is Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice providing palliative care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Our holistic approach to care enables us to support the whole family, allowing parents to be ‘Mum and Dad’ rather than full-time carers.
Our children’s palliative care is delivered through our Multi-disciplinary Team. We work in partnership with the child’s primary care team with a shared goal of ensuring high quality Respite, Crisis, Transitional and End-of-life care, between Hospital, Hospice and Home.
As part of a new fundraising strategy, we now wish to hire an Individual Giving Manager to join our dynamic fundraising team and significantly increase our fundraising income.
The Role:
The Individual Giving Manager will develop and implement plans to optimise LauraLynn’s fundraising income through the acquisition of new supporters and the development of existing donors. She/he will have oversight of the donor journey from initial acquisition right through to legacy promotion, ensuring the right engagement approach to the right people at the right time.
The successful candidate will be a direct marketing professional with extensive experience in generating income across multiple channels and a thorough knowledge of individual giving strategies, donor motivation and prospect cultivation. You will have experience in developing and implementing successful supporter journeys to ensure smooth transition between acquisition and retention programmes. You will have a proven track record in developing fundraising and marketing campaigns across a range of offline (print, DRTV, telemarketing, face to face) and online/digital channels.
This is a senior position within the fundraising team and as a new role, there is scope to shape it accordingly. The Individual Giving Manager will deputise for the Head of Fundraising and should therefore be a skilled people manager with proven success in team leadership and performance management of a working team.
