Role Purpose:

Income Collection Policy Unit (ICPU) is a section within the Income & Communities Department located in Central Housing Services. ICPU is primarily responsible for ensuring appropriate arrangements are in place to maximise rental income. The key services include:

  • Performance analysis & assessment.
  • Strategy/policy development and support.
  • Development /support of business processes and systems.
  • Operational activities to support Regions, Area Offices, Income Collection Units and other stakeholders.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in the work associated with delivering ICP’s main business objectives for 2017/18, including:

  • Increasing uptake of Direct Debits
  • “Nudge” experiments
  • Enhancements to I.T. systems
  • Research
  • Financial Inclusion Strategy & Action Plan
  • Welfare Reform
  • Build Yes

Essential Requirements:
