Finance Officer

Based in our Belfast Office

35 hours per week

Salary £18,882 per annum

 

The Role:

This is a very exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic fast paced environment. Depaul is a values based organisation and sees the potential in people. We have a variety of development programs for employees to participate in. The role will report to the Finance Coordinator you will assist the Coordinator with the delivery of the finance function for Northern Ireland.

 

Key Tasks include:

  • Checking and inputting of invoices and weekly payments for goods and services
  • Preparing detailed aged creditor listings
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts
  • Assist in processing the NI monthly payroll
  • Assist in the preparation of funder returns and responding to funding queries
  • Tracking all lodgments, maintaining the funding debtor and monitoring the accounts receivable function
  • On site visits to project locations
  • Preparing ad hoc reports and responding to general finance queries

 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • A minimum of two years’ work experience in a busy accounts function which must include payroll function
  • Experience of using Sage Accounts, Micropay or other equivalent packages

Successful candidates will be appointed following satisfactory Enhanced Access NI and other pre-employment checks.
