Early Years Supervisor

Permanent

26 hours per week

Monday – Saturday

11 Month contract (July off)

£12,207.52 with mileage

Lisburn Sure Start

Job Purpose:

The role of the Early Years’ Supervisor will be to deliver quality early years’ services to support the delivery of the Sure Start programme within the Lisburn Sure Start area.

They will be responsible for the day to day running of the early years’ services and to ensure that they create a welcoming, safe and child centred environment.

Essential Criteria:

• Early Years Degree
• NVQ Level 5 Child Care qualification or equivalent:
  1. Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 5 Children & Young People
  2. CACHE Level 5 Diploma in Child Care & Education

(Or working towards a level 5 qualification and currently employed as an Early Years Supervisor and or leader).

• One years’ experience of working in the early years’ sector
• 5 GCSE’S at grade C or above including English Language and Maths (or equivalent)
• Clean drivers licence and access to transport

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience of working within a Developmental Programme for Two – Three year olds
