Position: Corporate and Events Fundraiser
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Hybrid working)
Salary: NJC points 15-20 (£27,803-£30,296)

TinyLife, a leading charity dedicated to supporting families of premature and ill babies, seeks a motivated Corporate and Events Fundraiser to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about making a difference and eager to excel in fundraising.

Main Responsibilities:

As the Corporate and Events Fundraiser, you will play a pivotal role in driving our fundraising efforts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and expanding the charity's corporate fundraising program to secure vital support from local businesses and the community.
  • Organising and executing a diverse range of fundraising events, from small-scale community gatherings to large corporate functions, with the aim of maximising participation and contributions.
  • Cultivating strong and lasting relationships with corporate sponsors and community donors, ensuring exemplary stewardship and fostering a sense of engagement and commitment to our cause.
  • Identifying and implementing innovative strategies to engage potential supporters and donors, utilising both digital and in-person channels.
  • Managing corporate partnerships, including account management, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and devising fundraising activities to motivate and engage partners.
  • Researching and establishing new income streams from corporate and community sources, continuously seeking opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Collaborating with schools, businesses, organisations, and community groups to build partnerships and garner support for our cause.
  • Overseeing events organised by corporate partners, providing support and guidance to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Ensuring all fundraising activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements regarding donor data management, privacy, and compliance.
  • Contributing to raising the charity's profile and increasing awareness through marketing and communication initiatives, including managing social media content related to corporate, community, and fundraising events.

Essential Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Minimum one year of experience in securing corporate partnerships or working in a fundraising team, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in corporate and community fundraising or the ability to demonstrate transferable skills, such as sales or marketing.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to plan and execute both large and small-scale fundraising events.
  • A track record of achieving financial and non-financial targets, with a focus on results and outcomes.
  • Knowledge of donor management principles and customer care, with the ability to provide excellent stewardship to supporters and donors.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with external customers, including businesses, individuals, and organisations.
  • Knowledge of legal and financial aspects of fundraising, including familiarity with relevant regulations and codes of practice.
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle for travel as required.
