Cook (Part-time) -Ref: AUX16/01 – Foyle Haven, L’derry/Derry

6 month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £7.99 per hour

Hours: 17.5hrs a week

(With generous Annual Leave, Paid Sick Leave as well as inclusion on our Staff Training Programme* (*pro rata))

Location: Foyle Haven is a comprehensive and integrated service providing assistance and support to street drinkers. Each service user is encouraged to make use of all the relevant services and to participate in social activities within the centre.  The day centre provides practical assistance including hot meals, access to showers and laundry facilities and a programme of regular social activities.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual who is committed to providing high quality sustenance to our vulnerable client group. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who has at least one year’s previous catering experience, City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 OR NVQ Level 2 Catering as well as a level 2 award in Food Safety in Catering.
