CASUAL/BANK STAFF

Casual/Bank staff provide accommodation and support services to vulnerable homeless families in a temporary accommodation setting on an adhoc basis when additional or emergency staff cover is required. Our Homeless Services Schemes are based in Moyard House, West Belfast, and Roseville House, South Belfast.

• Salary: £8.45 per hour

 As Casual/Bank Staff, you will work as a member of a small team and ensure that quality accommodation and support services are provided to all service users. You will be required to work shifts allocated on a rota system, including overnights, evenings and weekends and experience in a similar type of environment would be an advantage. 

 The successful applicant is likely to have the following:

• A minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent qualification including English & Maths
• A minimum 6 months experience working with vulnerable groups in similar environment in a paid or voluntary capacity
• An understanding of current homeless/housing and /or other social issues
• Ability to demonstrate working on your own initiative and as a member of a team
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills
• Be IT literate and have a working knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel
