Assistant Youth Worker

To assist the Teenage Group Worker and to work directly with the young people in the planning and delivery of various programmes that will challenge, stimulate and provide new learning opportunities. Must have a clean driving licence for 2 years.

The individual will spend the majority of their time assisting with projects involving young people.  In many instances this will involve face-to-face work with groups of young people including project-based work.  We are looking for enthusiasm and a genuine passion for young people and are particularly keen to hear from people with specialist skills in areas such as art, music or outdoor education.

Applicants must have a clean driving licence for at least 2 years and be willing to drive a minibus.

Hours of work: 15 hrs per week over 3 days normally 3pm - 8pm

Salary: £8.06 - £8.63 per hour

Age: Over 21 for minibus insurance purposes.

Fixed term contract until 30th April 2014.
