Area Youth Worker I

Salary in the range of £26 - £28 (JNC Professional range Pts 18-21) dependant on qualifications & experience – 6 months contract with view to extend.

Role: To Co-ordinate, develop and deliver the outreach work of The EDGE specifically with the target age-group of 11-14 year olds.

We are looking for someone with:

• A JNC Degree in Youth & Community Work & at least 1 year relevant field experience.
• Ability to lead, motivate and inspire volunteers and other team members.
• Ability to implement outreach work.
• Energy and enthusiasm with the ability to lead discussions, activities and programmes in a small or large group setting.
• A desire to work in a cross community context.
• A commitment to supporting and promoting the Christian ethos of The Edge.
