Belfast Bible College are inviting applications for Academic Registrar who will be responsible for the overall delivery, enhancement and development of the educational administrative processes in the College and managing the Academic Administrators.

The Academic Registrar will work under the Director of Education to deliver high quality support services for all the educational programmes of the College. This role will attract applicants who are excited by the prospect of using their administrative, organisational and team management skills to support the delivery of quality education in a faith based context.

An effective communicator and organiser, the postholder will be able to both manage a small team of Academic Administrators and enjoy working as a member of a large team. They will be able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and ensuring that other members of their team do so. They will have a professional demeanour, be positive about working for the College and able to demonstrate this to all the people they come into contact with including external bodies such as Universities and Government Agencies. They will also have a propensity for thinking ahead, and the ability to rise to the challenge of new or unexpected circumstances. A facility to think creatively and come up with new effective ways of working in an ever changing context is highly desirable. They will be self-motivated, dynamic and have a commitment to self-development. 

The postholder will be committed to seeing students grow and develop and find it rewarding to be working to provide support services that assist in that overall aim. They will also be committed to ensuring that all students are dealt with fairly and impartially. 

The post holder must be willing to commit to working within the Christian ethos of the college. 

Typical working hours & pattern: Full-time (37 hours per week) Monday to Friday to include regular Tuesday evenings during term-time. Some flexibility with working hours will be required.
