This practical training programme will equip service and project leads with the tools and skills they need to evaluate the impact of their service or intervention in a meaningful way. It is suitable for those who need to understand the basics of evaluation, and those who need to enhance their skills in analysing and reporting data to be able to tell their story. The programme is split into 3 sessions, and you can choose to attend online or in person - you can attend an individual session or all 3 depending on your knowledge and experience.

This 2-hour online training course is designed to assist employers in developing safe, fair, and consistent recruitment practices and better understand what having a conviction means when it comes to employment. It will help them to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, assess risks, dispel myths concerning people with convictions, and enable employers to make informed decisions when deciding whether to employ people with convictions.

The KEYHOLE® Early Intervention Programme is a 2-day interactive training course specifically designed for early years professionals. The Migrant Centre NI's Migrant and Ethnic Minority Peace Builders in Northern Ireland project (funded by the Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust) will launch on Tuesday 18 June in Belfast Castle with an event titled 'Colours of Peace: Moving Beyond Orange and Green'. The event will be a mix of talks, workshops and discussions on the theme of diversity in peacebuilding. Harnessing Hope is a carer skills workshop for anyone supporting a loved one who has had an eating disorder for more than five years. The workshop will cover topics including developing and maintaining hope, the impact of starvation, accommodating & enabling behaviours, and coping with setbacks, amongst others. Managing change is now a guaranteed part of any manager’s job. Whether you are managing change at a day to day operational level or implementing it at a strategic level—change needs managed. This master class looks at the theory of managing change and how to put it into practice in such a way to keep volunteers motivated. Using case studies and own examples, participants will start to plan for managing change in their own organisation. By the end of this session, participants will be able to: Demonstrate an understanding of the change process in organisations Outline the characteristics of good leadership Joining information will be sent out the day before the session.

#10 years #20 years: A celebration and conversation with Dr Peter Vermeulen 5th September 2024, 12pm-2pm A celebration of supporting the autistic community and employers for 10 years in N Ireland and for 20 years across the world, in conversation with Dr Peter Vermeulen. Dr. Peter Vermeulen, PhD in Psychology and Clinical Educational Sciences, has more than 35 years of experience in the field of autism. Peter is an internationally respected lecturer, and he presents all over the world. Peter wrote more than 15 books and several articles on autism, some of them translated into more than 10 languages. For his +30 years of work in the field of autism, he received in 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award for his more than 30 years contribution to the autism community in Belgium.

This qualification provides learners with knowledge and skills to apply reliable, evidence-based nutritional science and healthy eating recommendations. Learners will gain an understanding of nutritional science and their application to exercise, sport and athletic performance. This includes the limitations and risks of supplements and performance aids, and the importance of hydration for sports performance. Working within their scope of practice, learners will be able to support their clients in their understanding of the relevance of official guidelines to personal food preferences and needs, including for health and wellbeing, weight management and sports performance.

Aims: To develop the exercise professional’s understanding of mental health conditions and the benefits of activity and positive lifestyle behaviours. Outcome: You will be able to plan, deliver, and evaluate activity sessions in the community and/or clinical settings with clients with a range of mental health conditions.
