Course Overview
This half day course is designed to provide employees the knowledge of what to do in the event of a fire or emergency in their workplace and implement the necessary preventative measures to minimise the risk of fires occurring.

- Prevention measures that can be taken to minimise fire risks
- Effective fire management in the workplace
Topics covered include:
- Basic fire safety and what to do in the event of an emergency
- The main causes of fires in the workplace
- Duties and responsibilities in relation to fire safety at work
- Action to be taken in the event of a fire in the workplace, including methods of raising the alarm and contacting the emergency services
- Active and passive fire risk control measures
Certificate
Participants will be awarded with a Qualsafe accredited Level 1 Certificate in Fire Safety upon successful completion of this course.
