What You Say Matters - Young People Using Rights for Change
Children's Law Centre
Youth@clc, NI Youth Forum and Belfast Youth Forum invite young people to participate in a youth-led children’s rights conference:
WHAT YOU SAY MATTERS - YOUNG PEOPLE USING RIGHTS FOR CHANGE
on 27 October 2016 in Belfast City Hall; 11.30am - 2.30pm
We are seeking participation from young people under 18 who want to have their say on issues like NI Youth Parliament, votes at 16, mental health issues, discrimination against young people, adult respect for rights and knowing your rights and how to use them.
This is also an opportunity for young people to ask decision makers how they plan to keep their promise to RESPECT and PROTECT children's rights and to get involved in follow up rights campaign work.
Contact Emma Campbell to book places for your young people and one accompanying adult. There are up to 6 places for young people available per youth group/school.
