This session will include an overview of the Charters and the rights and entitlements that victims and witnesses can expect.

Do you work or volunteer in the voluntary or community sector and come into contact with individuals who have been a victim of crime? Did you know that both the Victim Charter and the Witness Charter sets out how victims and witnesses of crime should be treated and what advice, support and practical information they can expect to receive?

Come along to one of these sessions which will help to:

  • increase your knowledge of the Charters;
  • understand the rights that victims and witnesses are entitled to;
  • hear from partner organisations about what the Charters mean to them; and
  • learn more about the support which is available.

This in-person session will include a range of presentations from DoJ and partner organisations and will last approx. 2hrs.

A sandwich lunch will be provided.
