Join Belfast City Council's Economic Development E&S unit on Wednesday 01 May 2024 at 12pm (noon) for an online information session delivered by the Turnaround Project. You will hear how the Turnaround Project offers 12-month paid employment opportunities for people who face barriers to securing and sustaining employment due to having been in the justice system.

Turnaround provides transitional employment in real enterprises, in an environment that is more supportive and flexible than conventional working environments.

Opportunities are available in grounds maintenance.

Criteria for joining The Turnaround Project as a Transitional Employee:

  • serving a sentence in the community, or convicted of a crime; 18 years old+;
  • can commit to a minimum of 14 hours per week;
  • fit for physical work;
  • able to work in areas of Belfast and wider areas wherever we have contracts.

The Turnaround Project accepts self-referrals – as well as referrals from The Probation Board, Prison Service, and community and voluntary organisations.

For all enquiries, and to receive a Microsoft Teams link to a 45-minute information session on Wednesday 1 May 2024 at 12 noon, get in touch; [email protected]
