Strengths Based Street Work

Cost: Free

An exploration into a Strengths based approach to Street Based Youth Work

The planning team for the Northern Ireland Street Work forum are delighted to officially invite you to the next Forum event, to be held at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown, on the 2nd December 2016.

The theme for this event is Strengths Based Street Work and will be facilitated by Street Invest, an organisation committed to improving street children's lives around the world.  During our time together we will explore a strengths based approach to street based youth work and its application to our work with street connected young people in our context.  This promises to be a great event and an opportunity to examine and reflect on our practice as we seek to engage with young people and make a contribution to their lives.  If you want to know more about the work of Street Invest you can click here.

We will hold the event in room 16G29, you can download a flyer and map opposite, tea coffee and a light lunch will be provided.

If you are a manger of this type of work or a practitioner and you are interested in attending this event, then please express your interest by emailing us at [email protected].  On behalf of the planning team, we thank you for your continued support and hope to see you there.
