Mark Robinson of Thinking Practice will share some the frameworks and tools for creative resilience from his book Tactics for the Tightrope, published by Future Arts Centre. This interactive session, which will encourage people to work together, will focus on how to build sustainable creative organisations and livelihoods, so that you can stay creative whilst earning a living.

During this session Mark will go through some of the key Tactics frameworks and tools to explore creative resilience and leadership. This will be a collaborative and interactive session to lead discussions on strengthens and weaknesses through the lens of creative livelihood assets.

Mark founded Thinking Practice in 2010 and has worked in the cultural sector for over 30 years, doing everything from running literature festivals and community arts organisations to being an Executive Director at Arts Council England. He lives in Stockton-on-Tees, and has been a contributor and mentor on ABNI’s Blueprint programme. The vision Mark bring to every room is of working with others to make culture that opens up rather than closes down possibilities.

This session would be particularly useful for those who are at the early stages of setting up a company or those who are just about to!
