Integrated Education Fund

Cost: £25.00
IEF Comedy Night
On 19 October some of our most well-known and loved comedians will perform at a stand-up comedy night to support the Integrated Education Fund.

Home-grown comedians Tim McGarry and Colin Murphy will be joined by Scottish comic Wendy Wason for the gig at the Ulster Hall on 19 October.

Stand-Up for Integrated Education 2023 is the latest in a series of sold-out comedy nights, supporting the work of the Integrated Education Fund (IEF). The IEF supports the establishment of new Integrated schools, the growth of existing Integrated schools and those schools seeking to become Integrated through the Transformation process.

MC Colin Murphy, who began his career at the famed Empire Laughs Back nights and is a regular on The Blame Game, will return on compere duties.

Wendy Wason is an established actress and comedian, whose TV shows include Coupling, The IT Crowd and Half My Age Plus Seven. Her stand-up shows have wowed sell-out audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe and beyond.

Tim McGarry, best known for playing Da in Give My Head Peace and hosting The Blame Game, will bring his 30 years of comic experience to the evening along with his acerbic take on all things local.

Tim McGarry said:

‘I’m delighted to be back in the Ulster Hall to help raise much-needed funds for the Integrated Education Fund. We have a great line up of top class comedians so we can guarantee you a superb night of fun and frolics!

If you have already been to Stand-Up for Integrated Education, you’ll want to come back. If you haven’t been before, don’t miss this unique night of comedy.’

A special guest will be announced closer to the date!
