The Royal National Institute of Blind People Northern Ireland (RNIB NI) would like to invite anyone who is blind or partially sighted to take part in focus groups being held across Northern Ireland in the next four weeks. We are seeking your views in relation to use of different types of transport in order to assist in the development of the Department for Regional Development (DRD)’s new accessible transport strategy.
Each focus group session will begin with a briefing from RNIB NI’s campaigns team outlining RNIB’s Bus Charter and wider transport issues, followed by a presentation from Sean Coulter (DRD), and a chance to establish the views of those with sight loss and possible solutions to the transport issues that affect them daily.
Please find below the location and venues for each focus group. Each session will run from 11.00am to1.00pm and lunch will be provided. Transport can also be provided where necessary.
