Practical Leadership in Open Data has been developed to equip the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector with the understanding and skills to use open data programmes in their organisations.
2 days of training over four concise modules
- making the case for open data
- creating a data strategy
- building your data infrastructure
- leading a culture of open innovation
No previous experience of using data is required, but it is important that participants understand how data is currently used in their organisations and what, if any, systems are in place to manage or collect data.
Who is this for? Managers and project leaders from voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations of all shapes and sizes who want to make better use of data in their day to day activities
When? Monday 28 & Tuesday 29 November (2-day course)
Where? NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast BT15 2GB
Cost? The course normally costs £365, however, we are offering 100% bursaries for VCSEs who commit to attend the two days training and demonstrate that they meet the selection criteria outlined in the application form.

In order to qualify for the course, applicants must be from a voluntary, community or social enterprise organisation and be prepared to commit to the two full days of the course and attend the Detail Data Conference in January 2017.
Places are limited and we hope to have participants from across the region and from a diverse range of organisations. Only one place per organisation will be allocated
