This course is aimed at Practitioners who have previously completed the Paediatric First Aid Certificate but are within 28 days of or 28 days after the date of their certificate expiring and is delivered in line with the Early Years Foundation stage statu
Training academy is an HSENI approved first aid provider and a member of the association of First Aiders running first aid courses throughout Northern Ireland.
Course Content:
- How to deal with the situation.
- An unconscious breathing casualty (children)
- An unconscious non breathing casualty (children)
- A choking casualty (children)
- Recovery Position
- Wounds & Bleeding
- Burns & Scalds
- Head Injuries/Sprains & Fractures
- Epilepsy/Diabetes
- Childhood conditions
- First Aid Kits
*We would need to receive a copy of your previous Paediatric First Aid Certificate to ensure you are eligible to attend the refresher course.
