Mencap's Big Tea Party

Learning disability charity Mencap launches its brand new tea party event this autumn. The charity is encouraging as many people as possible to organise a Mencap Big Tea Party on Wednesday 8 November 2017.

Mencap is asking people hold tea parties at home, in the workplace, at school or in their community at clubs and societies. Big Tea Party is a brand new event for charity and will help raise vital funds, with all the money raised supporting people with a learning disability, their families and carers.

The Big Tea Party is open to anyone who loves a slice of cake and a good cuppa. Whether small or large it’s hoped every tea party will have an array of sweet treats on offer from Lemon drizzle to chocolate brownies as well as entertainment including dancing, face painting or perhaps a bake off.
