Managing & Motivating Volunteers

This course examines these differences and provides guidance focusing on:

• volunteer motivation;
• support and supervision;
• policy and procedure;
• addressing management issues; and
• the law in relation to volunteering.

It provides the key skills and knowledge for development as a volunteer management specialist and to inform how an effective and supportive volunteer programme should be structured.

The course is stand alone but links closely to Recruiting & Selecting Volunteers and builds on the key topics covered.  The courses are accredited with NOCN for 3 credits at Level 2 so are an opportunity to gain a recognised management qualification.
