This FREE training workshop, facilitated by the Unlocking Potential Project covers a wide range of volunteer management issues relevant to the support of older volunteers.
It will cover:
- The benefits of involving older people as volunteers;
- How to identify and overcome potential barriers to volunteering faced by older people;
- Good practice in the recruitment and retention of older volunteers;
- Group volunteering;
- Information on current research into older people and volunteering;
- Support that the Unlocking Potential Project could offer your organisation.
