This short course provides a comprehensive 'Introduction to Mindfulness'. It will explain what Mindfulness is, where it came from, the science behind how it works, how stress physically affects the human body, the role of the conscious & sub-conscious mind, how pain is processed, and the course will also provide the opportunity to try some mindful meditation.
This is only an Introduction to Mindfulness. Mindfulness takes practice and it usually takes about 8 weeks of practice to start to realise the full benefits. Anyone who is interested in introducing Mindfulness into their lives should also consider attending an 8 week Mindfulness course.
