A free interactive 2 hour session on the main information rights considerations of a charity or voluntary group with a focus on members/users.

Protecting people’s information rights is a front line service. Taking a positive approach to your responsibilities will deliver benefits to your organisation as well as helping you to comply with the Data Protection Act (the DPA) and the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). 

This session will provide you with tips on how to ensure compliance with the data protection principles, an overview of fair processing and the main requirements that need to be met, including individual rights, records management advice and security.

This FREE session takes place on Friday, 18 March - 10am to 12noon in NICVA, 61 Duncairn Gardens, Belfast.
