Good Governance and Charity Regulation - Belfast

NICVA

NICVA

Cost: Free

Over 5,000 charities are now registered with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland and there’s a few thousand more waiting to be registered.

Charity registration is only the beginning of the new requirements on charities as registered charities will have to report to the Commission on an annual basis according to specific regulations.

NICVA in association with the Developing Governance Group and the Charity Commission would like to invite you to a free seminar focusing on the new accounting and reporting rules and regulations that have come into being which all charitable voluntary and community organisations need to be aware of.

This seminar will also focus on the importance of good governance within charities and present the newly revised Code of Good Governance.

The Belfast seminar will take place in NICVA on Monday, 3rd October from 2pm to 4.30pm.  Registration and refreshments at 1.45pm.

This same seminar will also take place in other venues across Northern Ireland in conjunction with local support networks and dates will be publicised shortly.

Please note that places are limited.  If you would like to attend the Belfast seminar then please register here.
