Go Explore with Sustrans - Free Fun Bike Ride!

Sustrans Go Explore Led Bike Ride. Meet Shaftesbury Centre, South Belfast: Thursday 24 March. Ride departs 10am. Cycle to Belfast Harbour Estate to the RSPB WOW Centre. Event starts at 11.30 [duration 60mins]. This Group Bike Ride is open to everyone. And is Family Friendly. All Welcome!

Join Sustrans volunteers and staff for one of our five Go explore with Sustrans led bike rides this spring and enjoy free entry to one of a list of exciting destinations, including Belfast Children's Festival and the interactive discovery centre W5.

The Go explore with Sustrans Project has been funded through the Belfast Strategic Partnership’s Family Friendly Team and aims to promote active travel for families in the city, while showing how the city connects up for cycling.

"We are delighted to team up with Young at Art and RSPB among others to offer an exciting day out for all the family,” said Rachael Ludlow-Williams, Sustrans Volunteer Coordinator.

“Belfast has a wealth of traffic-free routes connecting large parts of the city. Many commuters already use these as well as families on leisure cycles at the weekend. However, we want to encourage families who wouldn’t otherwise explore the city on their bikes together to have a go and see what fascinating events are happening just a short journey away.”
