Ernest and Celestine- charming french family animation
Cinemagic Film and Television Festival
This charming animated film is based on the popular children’s books by Gabrielle Vincent.
In a world where bears are in charge and mice are downtrodden creatures, an unlikely friendship is formed: Ernest, a large brown bear working as a clown and musician, meets tiny Celestine, a clever little orphan mouse who has run away from a life where she doesn’t fit in. When they realise they can help each other, they quickly form a partnership but their actions get them into trouble. This delightful film explores themes of friendship, belonging and tolerance as Ernest and Celestine embark on exciting and fun adventures.
