Digital Visions- COLLABORATIONS BETWEEN THE WORLDS OF ARTS & MEDIA

Jaqui Devereux and Tamar Millen from the Community Media Association present CONNECT, their pioneering partnership programme with the Arts Council of England and the Voluntary Arts Network. The initiative has enabled a number of community media organisations and arts organisations to join forces to create innovative new projects, including a new performance piece created by young people working with internationally acclaimed composer Claudia Molito, short films with adults with learning disabilities in Cumbria, new works with poets in association with the Manchester Literature Festival and audio features between Newlyn Arts Gallery and Penrith Community Radio.
