ART Excel combines modern teaching with the benefits of yoga and stress reducing exercises, designed to fit the age group from 8 – 13 years. In a friendly and fun atmosphere, children are taught the Golden Keys to Success.
ART Excel introduces tools to reduce stress, increase focus and clarity of mind, create a sense of belonging and friendship. As the stress level reduces, the children experience an increased sense of well being and they are able to focus on learning. Harassment decreases as friendship and fun become part of everyday school life.
What do the children learn?
The course teaches human values and stress management techniques entirely through games, sport, drama, music, art, challenges, service projects and nature outings. They become more self-expressive, comfortable and natural even with diverse groups of people. Through the service project, especially, children find their inner aspiration to help and
discover the joy in serving others.
They are also taught various simple yoga exercises and effective and powerful breathing processes which help to eliminate fear, anxiety, depression and other undesirable emotions. Meditation, being an important tool to tap the children's hidden potential, forms an integral part of the programme.
