The Youth Worker will work across a number of our services engaging with young people aged 11-25 from the Greater Shankill area. The project will focus on helping young people in a variety of ways including:
- Building confidence and self-esteem
- Enjoying good mental and emotional health
- Enjoying positive relationships
- Positively engaging in their community
- Engaging in school, employment or training
The Youth Worker will be experienced, skilled and passionate about working with young people in communities and schools to support learning and development; the successful candidate will be a self-starter with drive and commitment. A more detailed list of duties can be found in the job description.
