Support Volunteer - Crisis Accommodation Service for women

The Welcome Organisation

Carer Professions

We are seeking volunteers to support vulnerable women in an overnight crisis accommodation setting; ensuring it is a female-friendly, welcoming, safe and homely environment. The service is open 9.30pm – 8.30am every day.

The Welcome Organisation services are ‘high tolerance, low threshold’ based on the principles of harm reduction enabling ‘reach and support’ to the most disadvantaged men and women in Belfast most of whom would be difficult to connect / re-connect with services.

Volunteers are an integral part of The Welcome Organisation's work. They bring experience and skills which complement and underpin the work of our paid staff.
