Volunteer Programme Administrator (Maternity Cover)

The role will have responsibility for the administration, development, promotion and maintenance of a coordinated, cohesive, efficient volunteer programme, to include marketing, recruitment, ongoing Centre support and alumni engagement.
Essential Criteria
- Proven track record, of at least two years’ experience of delivering effective volunteer coordination and administration.
- Previous relevant experience of recruitment and selection planning and procedures.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective external partners.
- Demonstrable experience in managing youth and adult volunteers.
- Demonstrable experience in building, controlling and managing a budget.
- Demonstrable experience in monitoring and evaluation of programmes.
- Knowledge of the law and policy landscape of volunteering in the UK.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high level of IT competence including use of social media platforms.
- Ability to work, both independently and as part of a team, with high-level organisational skills to successfully prioritise work.
- Demonstrable experience of flexible working within a demanding environment.
- Current full driving licence (Valid for use in the UK) and access to a car on appointment. This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport which will permit the applicant to meet the requirements of the post.
- Satisfactory pre-employment check which will be conducted via Access NI (Corrymeela will conduct this prior to appointment).
- Legal status to work within the EEA.
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge of the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) sponsorship management systems and procedures.
- Third level qualification or equivalent.
- Qualification linked to volunteering or the voluntary sector.
- Previous experience of working in a residential centre and community living.
