Volunteer: Fundraising Events, Armagh/Dungannon

Regional fundraising is at the very centre of how we raise vital funds at a local level. The money we raise funds the delivery of universal services as well as the services we provide locally. It also helps fund research and our campaigning work.

Where, when and how often?

The role will be based at fundraising events - the times, dates and locations of which will vary. Examples of fundraising events include: collections, community events, corporate events and special events.

What will I be doing?

This is a flexible role and duties will vary depending on need, skills and interests.  Tasks could include -

• Route marshal or cheerer
• Engaging with our supporters
• Fundraising/information stall
• Bucket collection
• Setup and pack down at event
• Assisting at corporate events

How will I be supported during my volunteering?

You will receive training to start your role and will have a dedicated role manager to support you.  You will also receive briefing beforehand and face-to-face support at the event.  We will reimburse expenses as per the Society's Policy.
